Before Paula and Edward Budzinski got married they began searching for an affordable home. Unable to find a home that met their requirements, Paula decided the best solution was to build their own. The success she enjoyed, coupled with the favorable comments received from friends and family after her new home was built, encouraged Paula to offer her newly gained expertise to other aspiring homeowners. With a Bachelor's of Business Degree in hand, along with her business background and architectural experience, she decided to make a career designing and buiding homes. She founded Ashton Homes & Construction, Inc. and since 1993 has continued to steadily build an envious reputation in the local homebuilding industry. We met with Paula recently, and listened as she described her company's products and services;

Ashton Homes & Construction, Inc. is involved in every aspect of the construction industry. We specialize in custom homebuilding, design each home from the ground up, and rarely build the same house twice. We want each of our customers to be completely satisfied with their new home, and we strive to accommodate each owner's individual needs and preferences.

From design to completion, Ashton Homes & Construction, Inc. handles the complete construction process. As a woman, I have a knack for designing homes that are not only attractive, but are also designed to function well with the owners' daily lifestyles. I meet with every homeowner personally to determine their needs and budget requirements. Once we begin construction, I speak to each homeowner weekly to keep them apprised of our progress and to ensure we're meeting their expectations.

Every home we build comes complete with a nice selection of standard features, although custom upgrades are always available. My business philosophy is to never put anything into one of my homes that I wouldn't accept for myself. Our goal is to make the homebuilding process a comfortable experience, while turning our customers' dreams into reality.

We build homes throughout Northeast Ohio on either our own two acre lots or on properties already owned by our customers. Our homes range in price from $200,000.00 to 1M dollars, and we only build about a dozen homes per year. Many of the homes we build have been designed for those having special needs, health conditions that have to be taken into consideration, or for people approaching retirement and seeking a single floor solution to their housing needs.

There aren't many women who own homebuilding companies, and I'm proud to be one of the few female members of the Medina County Homebuilders Association. I'm thankful for the enormous amount of support I've received from my family, and for the appreciation shown by my previous customers.
